This 1992-93 project took place at Seneca College and involved 8 teachers from 3 colleges. They were given the opportunity to learn how to create educational software using Authorware, Coreldraw and other tools. In this document, you will find a summary of the project as well as an outline of the instruction given these teachers. Also included is a description of the process involved in building a prototype module, "Networking".
This project was conducted as a partnership: Seneca College, TVO and Mohawk College. A distance learning package was created, "Live and Learn" for Portfolio Development courses to assist Prior Learning Assessment at colleges throughout Ontario. Funded by the Ministry of Education and Training, the package includes a study guide, four half-hour video docudramas and a hybrid CD ROM.
