Activity Handout: This page guides you through the basic steps for creating a Power Point presentation.
Using the progam Power Point, you will find there are many similarities
with menus and tools found in the WORD program. This program gives you
a more concise, distilled version of a project. In Power Point you are
able to organize the "Headlines" for stories you want to tell.

1. To view a Power Point presentation in order to see the graphics inserted
on the slides, choose:
a. outline view b. slide sorter view c. notes view d. either b or c
2. If you want a blue for a font and this color is NOT shown on the
layout palette, click on:
a. the paint bucket b. the paint brush c. the button labeled more font
colors
3. To best change the size of an image inserted on a Power Point slide,
grab the handles on:

4. To change the background for a Power Point slide, click Format then
